Welfare Services
Founded in 2013, we are a 100% volunteer-run, ACNC-registered charity dedicated to supporting the most vulnerable in our Melbourne community with dignity, compassion, and love.

To provide practical support, compassionate care and pathways to independence for refugees, asylum seekers and vulnerable families.

To build a caring community where every person has the opportunity to live with dignity, self-sufficiency and hope.
Our Mission & Vision
Founded
Jesuran Welfare Services was established by Hilda Samuel as a small community initiative distributing food parcels to local families in Melbourne.
ACNC Registration
Officially registered as a charity under the Australian Charities and Not-for-profits Commission, gaining DGR (Deductible Gift Recipient) status.
Expanded Services
Launched our clothing and material aid program, partnering with local supermarkets and businesses to broaden our reach.
Community Centre
Opened our dedicated Jesuran Wellness Centre — a safe space for community members to receive support, connect, and find hope.
Council Partnership
Formalised partnership agreements with the City of Melbourne and local food banks, tripling our distribution capacity.
Today
Serving 789+ families, supported by 120+ dedicated volunteers, continuing to grow our services across the Melbourne community.
